Paterson Papers has been a distributor of fine paper products for four generations, since 1914. It all began when Sam Prell bought a small paper business for his son, Herman Prell, as a means of preventing him from joining the traveling circus. Herman’s son, Simon, took the reigns until the mid ‘90’s, when Simon’s son, Michael, became President and remains so today.
Currently, Paterson Papers provides over 100,000 square feet of warehousing with thousands of items on their shelves. They carry paper in cut and flat sheet sizes for all printing processes – offset, digital, color copy, ink jet, laser and more. There is a large assortment of “green” papers with varied recycled content, FSC, Green Seal certifications and more. Finally, Paterson Papers stocks a full line of envelopes for business and/or stationery needs.
